Thinking about enrolling? Have a chat with our Director or Administration Manager so we can guide you through the right next steps. We recommend an orientation of at least two hours, giving your child time to explore freely and giving you time to relax, meet the educators, and ask everything you want to know.
What to expect day to day

We provide morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, all nutritionally balanced and prepared on-site.

Every child is provided with a SunSmart bucket hat, which stays at the centre and is washed regularly.

A bag with spare clothes, every day.

We spend a large part of each day outdoors, making the most of our wonderful outdoor space.

As required by law, every child must be signed in and out for each session.

We supply nappies and wipes across the centre. If you’d prefer reusable nappies, you’re welcome to provide your own.
A centre owned by its community
Toybox is not-for-profit and community-based — and we mean that in practice, not just in name. Families are warmly encouraged to get involved, whether that’s joining our Committee, lending a hand at a working bee, helping maintain equipment, or putting together resources for the rooms. This kind of input helps us keep costs down and keeps Toybox a centre genuinely shaped by the families who use it.

If you’d like to discuss your child’s development, or raise a concern that may take some time, please ask us to set up a meeting — that way we can make sure staff are properly covered and ratios are maintained while we talk. We’re always glad to make that time for you.
